Who We Are

Our Story

A Liberationist church, striving to set the captives free

Our Mission

Empowering and inspiring the people of our community to experience victory through the message and ministry of Jesus Christ.

The congregation of Victory Community of Faith

A church on the corner of Pawnee and possibility

Victory Community of Faith is a family of believers in South Wichita who take Jesus at His word when He said He came to preach deliverance to the captives.

For us, that liberation is not only spiritual. It is the chain of debt broken off a household. It is a young man who finds purpose instead of a cell. It is a grandmother who gets prayed for and then gets driven to her appointment. Freedom that stops at the church door was never the gospel.

Whoever you are and whatever you are carrying — you can come as you are, and you will not be left as you were.

What We Value

Six Things We Refuse to Drop

1

Ministry

We exist to serve — meeting people at their point of need with the compassion of Christ.

2

Stewardship

Everything we have belongs to God. We manage our time, talent, and treasure as people accountable to Him.

3

Evangelism

The good news is too good to keep. We carry it into our neighborhoods, our workplaces, and our city.

4

Fellowship

No one should walk alone. We build a family where people are known, loved, and held up.

5

Discipleship

We don't just make converts — we grow followers who look more like Jesus every year.

6

Worship

We give God our whole heart in praise, in giving, and in the way we live Monday through Saturday.
